So I am taking several classes, and I'm doing better in college than I did in High School. What is up with that? So I was looking at my grades/ my report card and I am passing with As and Bs. In High School I was just barely passing with a borderline on C/D grade. So this is good. I am doing better in school, I'm having fun, and I'm succeeding in my classes. But I feel like I'm not succeeding in another area and that is my spiritual walk. I can kind of see why many people stop walking with the LORD when they enter college. I am overloaded with homework, and it seems like there isn't enough time to do anything other than school work. But I am making myself set my priorities straight. For instance, I used to do so much volunteer work people thought I was crazy. But now I can't do that stuff anymore because of all of my work. It is paying off, but I miss spending hours in the library shelving books, checking things in, helping people find a specific book, making...

So if anyone knows me at this point in my life, they know that I am taking Interior Design courses. In Color Theory classmates are AMAZING!!!!!!! Doing our understanding color schemes project board, almost everyone made one to two mistakes on their board. Yet silly me! I made at least four or five. Everyone is doing an amazing job! With the Make A Design Difference or MADD Project, we were supposed to go to a non profit organization and critique their design schemes and such. My team and I went to the on Army, but it wasn't a store. It was an office that dealt mostly with financial and legal aid for poor and homeless people. It was also an office that dealt with foster care and adoption assistance. And there were no Salvation Army shields anywhere. And the Salvation Army is a Christian based organization. Last night I was SO stressed out because I had a final exam today for one of my college classes. But I just finished, and I passed with an 84. So now I can breathe. I was so stressed, I ended up getting a really bad headache, and I passed out. But now that I finished, everything is good. I am SUPER excited for my next class. Hopefully I do better in Fundamentals than I did in Color Theory. But I won't know until I start it. So now that I finished, I am able to just relax, and calm myself. Everyone has been telling me "Get a good night's sleep, eat a good breakfast, and don't focus on that one thing. If you do, you'll get even more stressed, and it won't be good for you." Sorry I haven't posted in a couple of weeks. Life has been crazy lately. I'm working on starting my fundraising for my next pageant. And I have college. And my room is in DESPERATE need of cleaning. So why am I sitting here blogging about it instead of doing it? Well, I am doing it, I'm just taking a break to write it all down. Soooo... The day before yesterday I was on my way to school in Wichita and the weather was NASTY!!!! I was going around a bend in the road like you normally would in the rain, and I lost control of the vehicle. And I didn't just slide off into the ditch gently. NO WAY!! I was thrown around a couple of times, went into the ditch HARD, and then I jumped a driveway, which was about two feet high. Then I was back on the road, and spinning. I tried the brakes, but like they were when I left, they were still spongey. Later my brother told me it was because they needed to be bled. ANYWAY, after I spun around in the middle of the road, I went into the ditch, and a lady that saw it said the car almost flipped over. At first I thought "Oh I'll just drive out of the ditch, and keep going to school." BUT NOOOOO! I ended up with a shattered rim, a broken sway bar, a broken door, a bent tailpipe, an overhead console that came off and hit me in the head, a bruised rib, and a broken ...

You wanna talk stressful? Let's talk about doing my last year of high school, and my first year of college, IN THE SAME SCHOOL YEAR! Yeah, that's what I'm doing. I am really excited to start college, because my major is Interior Design. To start out, I am just taking a couple of classes, but come October, I am taking a few more classes. I am taking color theory, and math, because Math is a requirement for my class. I am SUPER excited about Color Theory. I got my books when I finished registering, and got my room assignments, and CT looks like SO much fun. I got a tablet/ Computer, and since my younger brother and sister tried to hack into it, it hasn't been working right. So I am going to see if I can get it fixed. Hopefully I can, because I need it for my classes. I am also taking a typing class, which is actually going really well. I have been getting faster at typing, and having less mistakes.
