The New Stuff

So I have changed my blog up a bit with the help of a friend, (Thanks Kaitlyn!) and can't wait to get to work on my new posts.  Stuff should be going up on Mondays, since I have time on Mondays between college classes. If you want to know more about me as a person, I have added an "About Me" page, so you can actually find out something about me rather than wonder.  So, the next thing... What do y'all want to see? Let me know in the comments,  and we can start working together. Sound good? I will be doing some posts on sports, and stuff that I do, but y'all should have a voice too!  So, I'll let you get back to reading blogs, like you have been doing. Enjoy! 😁😁                       ~Tabby~

Dress Shopping... What a disappointment!

Question: So, what ISN'T at a thrift store??? Answer: My winning dress for National American Miss. So yesterday, I went dress shopping with my mom, and we went to 10 different stores looking for "The Dress."  Guess what we didn't find? So most of yesterday afternoon was a wash. A rub. A failure. So... Next up, Consignment Shops! SO MUCH FUN!!!! I'm still $500 away from my sponsorship fee, and the pageant is two weeks away. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG HERE?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I really want to be in the pageant, and at least do well enough to say that I'm not a complete failure. But that is what it looks like the results will be. Complete. Utter. FAILURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But to quote one of my favorite lines, and I have no idea where I picked it up "Iss awll goooooood!" So here we go! Hopefully I will succeed next week when I go shopping. But for now NADA! ZILCH! ZERO! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!! So if you know of a cheap way to NOT buy somethin

This is MY week.

So, this week I don't have any 5- Day Clubs, and I am just chillin' for the week. I was gone for about 2 weeks at Christian Youth In Action, and then I went to Sedan KS to do a 5-Day Club. In between the CYIA, and 5-Day Club, I got 24 hours at home. But now I have a whole week at home. Hopefully I will find out who my Co- Teachers are soon, because I need to know if I need to set up lodging. And my next club is NEXT WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thankfully it's only about 30 miles away. So I can sleep at my house, but I can still teach the club. And at the end of July I am doing the Children's Ministry at a camp my family attends every year. Now I just need to get ahold o fa girl that wanted to teach as well. So I have a busy, BUT FUN, summer. And I just go to watch Doctor Strange. Now I just have to wait for the next movie to come out. Doctor Strange was the only Marvel movie I hadn't seen. And honestly, I liked the Marvel movies a LOT better when they were Marvel, and not Di

The Next Day...

Sooo... This is DEFINITELY the day that the LORD has made. So right now, I am in Sedan with some friends, teaching a 5-Day Club. (As you should know if you read yesterday's post.) So I was just watching Gifted with Chris Evans, and McKenna Grace. ANYWAY I won't give you the whole run-down, but it is basically about a little girl, who can do some of the hardest math problems EVER, and she lives with her uncle after her mother commits suicide. But it got me thinking... Because she asked her uncle if there is a God. And I kind of like his explanation, but it could use some work. I mean, he wasn't a Christian( as far as we viewers can tell) and so it isn't SUPER justified, but I'll let it slide this time. So I will type it out, kind of like you might see in a script. Here goes nothing... Mary: Is there a God? Frank: I don't know. Mary: Just tell me. Frank: I would if I could. But I don't know. And neither does anybody else. Mary: Roberta knows. Frank: N

What my life is like right now.

So....... WHERE HAVE I BEEN!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!??! So, I went to Christian Youth In Action, or CYIA three weeks ago. I was there for two weeks, training in Children's Ministry. I finished that on Saturday, and now I am helping with a 5-Day Club in Sedan Kansas. So, a 5-day club for those of you who don't know, is a one, and a half hour group fro children between the ages of 4 and 14. They can come, and a team of at least two teens who have had the CYIA training, teach songs, a memory verse, a Bible lesson, and a missionary story. Kids generally love coming to 5-Day club, where the teens are given the opportunity to share the Gospel, and help lead kids to Christ. I really enjoy the Missionary story the most. It is very fun to tell, and to hear. I am hoping to get the chance to go out, and do some open air ministry.  That is a lot of fun. My summer is VERY full. After this 5-Day club, then I go home, for I-don't-know-how-long, and hopefully I can see my best friend,
